This is a reminder that 2012/2013 FAFSA’s are due by May 1st for students returning next fall and are interested in applying for financial aid. if you have not yet completed your FAFSA, we ask that you complete your application by this date to avoid any late penalties. if you would like to complete your FAFSA in the Financial Aid Office with our assistance, we ask that you please contact us to schedule an appointment during the week of April 16th. FAFSA applications take roughly 30-45 minutes to complete. you will need to bring the following information to your appointment:
· Copies of 2011 federal tax returns (student and parent, if applicable)
· Copies of 2011 W2’s (student and parent, if applicable)
· the amount of net assets and investments (student and parent, if applicable)
· Child Support Paid during 2011
· Other Untaxed Income (Child support received, Military or Clergy Allowances, Veterans Non-Educational Benefits)
· Your FAFSA PIN (if you are not sure of your PIN, please visit the federal PIN website at pin.ed.gov and select ‘request duplicate PIN’ on the left hand side of this webpage)
